Resilient Ribault: Memorial Cemetery Cleanup
October 3 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

Resilient Ribault: Memorial Cemetery Cleanup | Friday, October 3 from 9-11 a.m. at Memorial Cemetery (6073 Moncrief Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32209)
Help us clean up this historic cemetery in the Ribault River watershed ahead of our Cemetery Tour with Ennis Davis on October 4.
It’s been said that a city’s history is written on its tombstones, and nowhere is this truer than at Memorial Cemetery, one of Jacksonville’s largest historic African American cemeteries.
Parking
Address: 6073 Moncrief Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32209 (corner of Edgewood Avenue and Moncrief Road – it is NOT Moncrief Rd W)
If you will need to leave early, please do not pull into the cemetery to park. There is really no place to turn around once you enter. Since there are no designated parking spaces, vehicles will be parked single file along the dirt road that runs through the cemetery. Also, consider carpooling, if you are attending with friends or family.
