Rising Tides
Rising Tides is the young professionals group (for those aged 21-39) for St. Johns Riverkeeper. We aspire to:
- Mission: Bring together Jacksonville-area young professionals to create a space for community, education, and advocacy with the goal of being good stewards of the St. Johns River.
- Vision: Create a group of young professionals who further the goals of St. Johns Riverkeeper, and a community geared toward bettering our environment and each other.
We achieve this through bimonthly cleanups at Blue Cypress Park, educational and advocacy-focused events, and social activities.
Our shared identity as the next generation of river stewards gives us a sense of community and ownership of the issues which will affect us as well as those who come after us.
Check out our upcoming events below, and fill out the Rising Tides Interest Form to learn more and hear from us about how to get involved.
