March 2026: Legislative Session Recap

The St. Johns Riverkeeper, Lisa Rinaman, is joined by the Matanzas Riverkeeper, Jen Lomberk. They break down the river-related bills in the 2026 Florida Legislative Session. Your local Riverkeepers highlight what passed, what failed, and what is still in play in the last few days of session.

February 2026: Biosolids and the St. Johns River

The St. Johns Riverkeeper, Lisa Rinaman, is joined by Craig Diamond from 1000 Friends of Florida and John November from Public Trust for Conservation for a conversation about the impacts of biosolids on the St. Johns.

Rinaman starts with an introduction to the issue. Diamond details the research, some conclusions, and recommendations to combat the effects of biosolids applications on the St. Johns. Then, November discusses the economic impacts of the issue as well as efforts in the Florida Legislature this year pertaining to biosolids.
