By now you’ve probably heard the buzz about St. Johns RIVERKEEPER’s annual Oyster Roast – but what is the Oyster Roast?
St. Johns RIVERKEEPER held our first Oyster Roast fundraiser in 2002, and we’ve been hosting this event annually to celebrate our work to protect the river ever since!
Funds raised at Oyster Roast help St. Johns RIVERKEEPER fulfill our mission to defend the St. Johns River and advocate for its protection year-round.
In addition to fundraising through ticket sales and sponsorships, a multitude of local artists and businesses get involved by donating items for the event’s silent auction and raffle, which you can participate in whether or not you are able to attend the event in person!
At the event itself, you can expect amazing food catered by Biscottis with plenty of seating indoors and out, live music in the courtyard by the river (dancing and merriment encouraged), libations, beer from our official beer sponsor, the local Bold City Brewery, silent auction and raffle items displayed indoors, fun details like a photo booth and games outside, a fresh oyster station outside, great networking opportunities with fellow river lovers, and so much more!
Our 22nd annual Oyster Roast is less than a month away on November 17! If you haven’t yet, get your tickets today.
