Go behind the scenes with Save the Manatee Club during the manatee’s annual wintering season at Blue Spring (December- March). In the winter months, manatees retreat from the main-stem of the St. Johns to our River’s warmer springs, which maintain a constant water temperature of 72 degrees. Still chilly for us, but a “hot tub” for these gentle giants!
