Wekiva Springs Our River Cleanup: National Public Lands Day
September 26 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Wekiva Springs Our River Cleanup: National Public Lands Day | Saturday, September 26 from 8:30 a.m. – Noon | Wekiwa Springs State Park
Celebrate National Public Lands Day at Wekiwa Springs State Park by volunteering!
Join a team of local, environmentally-driven organizations and celebrate National Public Lands Day at Wekiwa Springs State Park! Whether you are hoping to help out by hitting the water for a trash pickup, making the springhead safe and clean for wildlife and wild visitors, or remove pesky, non-native plants – there is a place for you.
Please select your team by registering on Eventbrite through the different ticket types. Please wear close-toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle as refill stations will be available throughout the park. Bug spray, sunscreen, and a hat are recommended.
This program is brought to you in partnership with The Florida State Parks, Clean Water Coalition, St. Johns Riverkeeper, Save the Manatee, S.E.R.V. Seminole County, and the Wekiva Wilderness Trust.
RSVP & Day-of Information
For the purpose of this volunteer workday, your Eventbrite receipt (register here) is the only reservation that you will need. If, additionally, you plan to visit the springs after your workday, you must have a reservation through the Florida State Parks website.
Event parking will be available at the Wekiwa Springs Youth Camp where we will meet for a safety briefing and welcome at 9am. Parking at the springhead after this event is not guaranteed.
Thank you for all that you do in helping to preserve and restore The Real Florida!
