Join us on a short hike / wetlands walk, co-hosted by the state’s wonderful park rangers in Wekiwa Springs, St. Johns Riverkeeper, and Orange Audubon. Wekiwa is a crucial waterbody of the St. Johns River’s Middle Basin! Learn about the various ecosystems, wildlife, and vegetation that are characteristic of the Sand Lake trail. These walks are open to everyone – bring a friend!
What to Wear/Bring:
- Wear clothing that can get dirty!
- Wear comfortable shoes that you can get walk in.
- Bring a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and water
