Reddie Point Preserve Trail Walk with JaxParks | Friday, August 15 from 9-10:30 a.m. | 4499 Yachtsman Way, Jacksonville, FL 32277

Join us for a Reddie Point Preserve Trail Walk with a JaxParks Naturalist! Take a leisurely walk in this park along the St. Johns River. The park Naturalist will discuss the Native American and freedman history of the property and how it formed the landscape we see today. The naturalist will also discuss invasive plant species, native plant species, and why it matters what we plant in our yards.

Water, sun protection, binoculars and bug spray are recommended. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.

Meet the park naturalist at the first picnic shelter. Be sure to arrive ready to hit the trail before 9 a.m. or you may miss the program.
