Riverview Park Service Day | Sunday, August 11 from 8:30-11 a.m. | Riverview Park

Join St. Johns Riverkeeper for our monthly day of service at the lovely Riverview Park on the Trout River. As Riverview Park’s Official Park Stewards, this is part of an ongoing effort to improve and maintain this important community resource connecting locals to our river on Jacksonville’s northside.

Volunteers can expect to collect litter, clear trails, catalog and/or remove invasive plants, and more as needed! Cleanup bags, gloves and grabbers will be provided.

If you’re a regular at our monthly cleanups, note that for the summer months we’re moving up the time of the event to 8:30-11 a.m. to beat the heat!

Useful Items to Bring:

• FULL reusable water bottle
• Closed-toe shoes (Required. We HIGHLY recommend wearing rain boots! This park is prone to flooding and general sogginess.)
• Sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses)
• Bug spray
• Work/gardening gloves (cleanup gloves will be provided)
• Small garden tools (trowels, shovels, etc.)
