Secrets of an Urban Park
April 2, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
In St. Johns Riverkeeper’s new Spring/Summer educational series “Adventures in Urban Ecosystems” we invite adults and kids alike to explore the natural spaces that harbor a diversity of life in Jacksonville’s urban landscape. In Snapshot: Secrets of an Urban Park, we will be taking a more focused look at the natural components within the big picture of an urban park.
Children ages 7-14 will join Education Director Ashleigh Boice for a fun exploration of different parts of an ecosystem, while Outreach Specialist Steph Morse will lead the rest of the group on a similar program geared toward adults.* Both groups will start and finish the program together. Families and adults without children are all welcome!
*A note for parents: both groups will stay within sight of each other, but parents are welcome to join their children for their program as well.
