Friends of Welaka will be hosting their quarterly town wide cleanup in Welaka on Saturday, April 8. For the first time, volunteers will be cleaning up the riverfront in Welaka. Volunteers will meet at the town hall pavilion located at 400 4th Avenue in Welaka. Coffee and snacks will be available beginning at 8 a.m., supplies will be distributed, and volunteers will break into groups so that everyone can be in their assigned neighborhood at 9 a.m. Volunteers interested in cleaning the riverfront should meet at Bryant’s Wharf at 9 a.m.
