Rising Tides: McCoys Creek Cleanup & St. Johns River Celebration
March 18, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Join Rising Tides young professionals for our monthly cleanup on McCoys Creek! As always, all of our cleanups are RAIN or SHINE! This month we’re partnering with the City of Jacksonville for their annual St. Johns River Celebration cleanup.
We will meet at Hollybrook Park as we remove plastic bottles, cigarette butts, discarded toys and tires in the area surrounding McCoys Creek. This cleanup is a great one for families or people of all ages, and we welcome everyone from the neighborhood, including Riverside, Murray Hill, north Riverside and Brooklyn to participate.
What to Bring:
- Reusable Water Bottle
- Hat & Sunglasses
- Closed toe shoes (required)
- Rain boots, work boots, or waders are extremely helpful!
- Optional: Heavy duty gloves (if desired)
Cleanup gloves and bags will be provided by City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful.
