August 8, 2023 @ 6:00 pm
Tuesday, August 8 | 6 p.m. | Strings Sports Brewery
It is critical that we all do our part now to tackle climate change to protect our waterways and the future of Northeast Florida. Join us in Jacksonville’s Springfield neighborhood for our August Brewing Up Solutions event.
Dr. Adam Rosenblatt will join the St. Johns Riverkeeper to discuss how climate change is affecting our river, natural ecosystems, and the plants and animals that rely on a healthy watershed.
This is part of our 2023 series of brewery conversations exploring solutions to climate change, sea level rise, and the pollution problems threatening the health of our river and our communities. Brought to you by St. Johns Riverkeeper’s Water Policy Group.

River Rising: Why it Matters
Rising sea levels are making storm surge events worse, causing more septic tanks to fail, undermining infrastructure, pushing saltwater further upstream, and threatening the health of our river and our communities.
Now is the time to ensure that the St. Johns River is resilient and healthy enough to withstand more frequent shocks to its system and for all of us to address the underlying causes of climate change.
