Take a walk in your neighborhood, breathe in the fresh air, feel the warm sun – and serve the St. Johns River where you live by picking up some trash along the way!

Post and share your photos/video with us by using #SJRKTrashTag. This challenge was launched in 2020 during COVID, but we encourage anyone to clean up our watershed on your own whenever you can. For the River!

This morning we did the @sjriverkeeper #sjrktrashtag challenge. We safely (wear gloves!) walked around our neighborhood picking up trash. I challenge @betz18, @dbholloway1, and @cheek.jackie to do the same! You can join the virtual challenge too: 1) Pick up trash while taking a walk around your neighborhood for some fresh air while social distancing. 2) Challenge 3 people you know to do the same! Share a photo/video and use #sjrktrashtag so we can see and share some good news with the world. 3) Be safe: wear gloves and keep your social distance!
