The local Twisting Roots food truck will be on site! Show your support for breaching the Rodman/Kirkpatrick Dam and reuniting Silver Springs\, the Ocklawaha\, and the St. Johns. Together\, we can restore the Great Florida Riverway! RSVP for the concert and let us know you’re coming! \nLocation\nDirections to Jacksonville University Riverfront Amphitheater: Enter the University through the main gate from the roundabout at University and Merrill. Continue straight\, down the hill\, until you come to a parking lot. This is a great place to park\, as the Dolphin Green and Amphitheater are right there on the St. Johns River. View the campus map (search for “Amphitheater”). \nAbout the Band\nSnake Blood Remedy is a traditional country music and Old Time band. Playing a variety of classic songs from 1800 to 1970\, along with original compositions from singer\, songwriter and founder JD Cook. The band began around 2013 with original members JD Cook and Mitch Holstein (washboard)\, soon being joined by John Paul Jackson (bass). With numerous players coming and going through the years eventually a solid lineup formed around 2017 with the addition of Micky Lynn\, and Andre and Abigail Gruber on banjo\, lead guitar and fiddle. It’s not just one big reunion but a series of reunions from the headwaters of the Ocklawaha River at Lake Apopka to the confluence of the Ocklawaha and Silver Rivers near Silver Springs\, to Palatka\, near where the Ocklawaha and St. Johns Rivers unite\, all the way to Jacksonville where the great riverway meets the Atlantic.
