SUMMARY:Great Florida Riverway Premiere
DESCRIPTION:The Great Florida Riverway\, a vast 217-mile three-river system is comprised of the Ocklawaha River\, Silver Springs and the Silver River\, and the lower St. Johns River. \nThe Riverway was Florida’s first tourist attraction — a magnet for travel writers and explorers alike and a transportation corridor for people and products. \n50 years ago\, when the Rodman Dam severed the Ocklawaha\, all of that changed. \nDiscover the Riverway’s history\, environmental challenges\, and recreational opportunities. Learn how to expand habitat for hundreds of manatees\, return migratory fish and reconnect three river ecosystems for people and wildlife. \nJoin us for a special online production to restore 3 rivers and 50 springs with 1 solution: Free the Ocklawaha! \nLearn More
