SUMMARY:Middle Basin Boat Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Often\, River trash is transported during tropical storms and hurricanes events from flooded properties along the river. When the water levels decline in January-April in our River’s Middle Basin a lot of this debris is exposed and able to be removed with little effort and boat access. We’re partnering with Captain Josh\, Owner and Captain of Blue Heron River Tours\, to organize an on-the-river boat cleanup – FREE for cleanup volunteers!\n\nCleanup Volunteer Reminders:\n– Wear closed toe shoes and bring work gloves.\n– We will be removing debris and trash from the shoreline of the River and on dry land.\n– No kids under 12.\n\nPre-registration required! We will meet at the boat launch at 12:30 pm – the boat leaves at 1:00 pm and will return around 3:00 pm to unload the debris collected.\n\nRSVP here to let us know you will joining us.
