DESCRIPTION:RECON + St Johns Riverkeeper Downtown Sanford Cleanup | Sunday\, August 2 from 9-11 a.m. | 307 E 2nd St\, Sanford\, FL\nJoin St Johns Riverkeeper and our friends from Central Florida RECON as we attend the monthly Keep Sanford Sparkling community cleanup in downtown Sanford on August 2nd! \nThis monthly cleanup event covers the business district of downtown Sanford and we will be meeting at the parking lot next to the Goodwill. We will have grabbers\, gloves and garbage bags ready for the event. \nDepending on the turnout\, we may take a trip down to the Marina and see if we can find more trash by the water. If you would like to turn back early\, please leave your equipment back where we started the event. \nPrior to the event\, we will take a group photo. After we have all returned\, we will bag the trash and weigh it for the day’s total haul. \nJoin us afterwards as we grab lunch at one of the many local restaurants in walking distance.
