Come aboard the Water Taxi & become a part of The City on the River. Enjoy the outdoors, learn about local history & ecology, and have fun with hands-on activities!
Location: Depart from The Friendship Fountain
What to Bring: Camera, binoculars, & a positive attitude; Light snacks & water provided (leave toys & video games at home, please)
Attire: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing

New View Mural Project - The Many Faces of the St. Johns River
March 5 - October 31
Sponsored by The Cummer Museum of Art and Gardens. Community partners include St. Johns Riverkeeper, MOSH, Jacksonville Public Library,Ritz-Lavilla Museum, and Jaxport. Artist Sarah Crooks Flaire assisted students at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in the creation of a mural of the St. Johns River that will travel to various venues in 2008. Exciting river-related lectures, presentations, performances, and activities will accompany the exhibit at each venue. -
First Coast Chorus 2008 Concert
May 30 & May 31 8:00 p.m.
The Riverside House, 2165 Park Street, Jacksonville
The First Coast Chorus, Inc., a local non-profit and non-auditioned community chorus, will present its spring 2008 Concert, "The River Runs Through Us."
St. Johns Riverkeeper will be the beneficiary of this year’s concert. Please call 904-778-1692 or visit www.FirstCoastChorus.org for ticket information. Tickets are $12.50 prior to the concert and $15.00 at the door.
